You know that moment when you see something on the Sephora website or in the store and immediately think “I need that”? Well, that was me when I saw this online. I love Bite Beauty; they use only food grade ingredients to create beautiful, moisturizing lip products. Before this set, I had never tried one of their High Pigment Pencils, so this set of four varied colors seemed like the perfect opportunity. Plus, they’re mini and, since I bought it during the VIB sale, this $25 set cost me $20. A full size High Pigment Pencil is $24 for .09 oz. this set gives you four .05 oz pencils for only a dollar more. This set has a value of $53.33!

Hello & Happy Saturday! For today’s makeup, I’m wearing this super simple eye look with some winged liner thanks to Marc Jacob’s Magic Marc’er. I’m not the greatest at liquid liner (as you can probably tell by the picture) but I’m trying! Click below to see more pictures and the other products I used to create this look:
Hello again & Happy November! Since it’s gotten considerably colder, the colors I reach for in my cosmetics have shifted. Nowadays I’m reaching for bronze eyeshadows, plummy blushes, and raspberry lip colors. While champagne and coral will always have my heart, I’m pushing them to the side for the next few months. Here are six products I’ve been reaching for and will continue to reach for this season:
This was a bit of an impulse buy, and I don’t impulse buy very often. I’m more of a fanatic researcher. But as soon as I swatched this color I knew it would be a great everyday lippie and had a place on my vanity or in my purse. These are $17 (only a dollar more than a MAC lipstick) for .1 oz. of product (the same amount of product as a MAC lipstick). Anyways, read on because I’m not kidding when I tell you Mighty Mimosa is the kind of neutral pink you can wear for months straight.
I’ve talked about Revlon’s Juicy Papaya Lip Butter before; in fact, I reviewed it here. It’s a light coral that I wear all summer (and all year) round. It’s a pretty everyday shade for me. But when I want to take it up a notch from everyday, I add Bobbi Brown’s High Shimmer Lipgloss in Citrus. Citrus is coral too, but packed with glitter in all different colors. It’s not gritty and not overly sticky. Plus, it has a nice subtle mint “flavor” to it. Not everyone is a glittery gloss girl, but this will definitely be love for those who are, especially if you’re a coral fiend like me!
Hi everyone! I want to first apologize for the slightly irregular posting – I currently try to post every weekend but I ran out of time to last weekend. So I’ll be posting twice this weekend. Happy Saturday! Here are some really awesome blog posts I’ve read in the past month. They range from the best of plum lips to homemade pumpkin spice syrup!
9 times of out 10 I’m wearing neutral eyeshadow. I look to straight up sparkly neutrals before I look to bright colors. So it’s safe to say that I have a lot of neutral eyeshadow. Among my sparkling neutral eyeshadows, Himalia stands out. It’s just SO PRETTY. You’ll understand why I couldn’t leave the store without it when you see these pictures.
Do some of your best friends live rather far from you? Several of mine do! And since they’re away at boarding school, I try to send them some baked goods every once in a while. Recently, one of my best friends texted me the link to Kevin & Amanda’s brown butter snickerdoodle donut muffins with brown butter buttercream frosting (phew, that’s a mouthful!). I immediately knew I had to make them for her and others! And so I did. But I did a wee bit of tweaking.
Hello everyone! I hope you’re having a great start to the school year (Or, if you’re not in school, a great start to september)! I’ll be posting around once a week now because of schoolwork but please continue to check back. Today I have an EOTD for you with Urban Decay’s Naked 3, a beautiful rose toned palette.
